Visiting Yosemite National Park

Yosemite National Park is located in east central California and covers and area of 761,266 acres. It is a popular destination for people of all kinds and brings in around 3.5 million visitors each year. The park is famous for is spectacular waterfalls, gigantic granite cliffs and diversity of flora and fauna. Campsites are nearly impossible to book last minute and must be done months in advance. Yosemite is a famous hiking and biking destination as well as a mecca for rock climbers who have a variety of cliffs to choose from.
