We made it down to Queenstown for NYE 07 this year. Having only travelled to the area in winter previously, I thought it wouldn't be as spectacular, boy was I wrong. The place is equally as beautiful in summer as it is in winter and the activities just as adrenaline packed. Aside from the Nevis bungy jump (omg, I don’t know what was more scary, the ride up the narrow path in the bus, the cable car ride out to the jumping pod, or the jump itself), by far the best activity was the mountain biking on Coronet Peak Ski Area!!!
