Family Fun at Walt Disney World, Florida

From Second Day of Vacation — Sept. 11 by twinspluscade
If you’ve got kids, or still feel like a kid sometimes yourself, then at least once in your life you should experience the magical fun of Walt Disney World in Florida. If you’ve not yet been, let RealTravel members twinspluscade take you on a journey through this fun-filled theme park and show you what it’s all about. You’ll get to read about the opening ceremony at the Magic Kingdom, the Main Street shops, Cinderella’s famous castle, and tons of rides suited for little ones and adults alike.
Here’s a snippet from twinspluscade’s journal, Second Day of Vacation — Sept. 11:
“We walked through Cinderella’s castle via a mosaic-filled tunnel, and found ourselves in Fantasyland! The kids were awe-struck and very impressed. We got in line for Dumbo, and after only a 5 minute wait got to ride. Cade rode with Adam, and the girls rode with me. It was a short, but fun, ride. After Dumbo we rode Cinderella’s golden carousel. Next we went on “It’s a Small World After All”, which ended up being Jaidyn’s favorite ride. Little did I know we’d be on it several more times this trip! We then rode “Peter Pan”, which became both my and Bailey’s favorite ride….
Near the Pooh meet and greet was a really cute play area for pre-schoolers called “Pooh’s Playful Spot”. It had a giant tree kids could play in, also a few little slides and a water spray area. We had a hard time convincing the kids to leave!” (more…)
