Today’s Featured Travel Story: 90 Mile Beach

Here’s a fun thing to do if you are traveling in New Zealand, Jess&Damian, a couple who are currently traveling around the world, currently spent some time sand boarding and visiting hot thermal pools at 90 Mile Beach:
“We went to the North end of 90 mile beach to the huge 90m sand dunes at the Tepaki reserve. It was a bit surreal driving through rolling countryside to come over a hill and sea bright white 90m high sand dunes! We picked up our body boards and headed for the nearest dune for some ‘extreme sand boarding’. After a couple of practice runs we went to the biggest slope which had a 200m run.” (more…)
