From Chengdu and into frozen north Sichuan by kwfletch
For the past few months, I’ve enjoyed following the adventures of Kwfletch, a couple who have been traveling around China, Vietnam and Thailand. Aside from sharing some great photos and stories along the way, they’ve also included many hotel recommendations, especially for locations in China and Vietnam. Here’s a great recommendation for a place to stay in Hanoi, from their Good Morning Vietnam! journal:
“At only $8 (US) per night this hotel is a bit of a bargain. It’s right in the Old Quarter and the staff are very helpful in arranging tours, providing maps and the like. You can even take a shower there after you’ve checked out! (Very useful if you’re about to depart on an overnight train!) Free internet although the machines are a bit clunky and appear to be in fairly constant use.” (more…)
